’Synekdoke’ is the debut album from Copenhagen-based instrumental rock band, Bandina ié. Nearly six years in the making, it’s the result of a thousand moves in and out of directions, motives and perceptions, representing the vastness of influences that have formed and fuelled the sound of Bandina ié. Through ambient synths, post-rock guitars, afrobeat and techno, ‘Synekdoke’ invites the listener into a world of textures, tensions and melodious relief that unfold and take shape from every angle.
